1966 Batman TV Theme Song Composer NEAL HEFTI Dies at Age 85
Here's some sad news. According the the LOS ANGELES TIMES obituary page Neal Hefti, the musician & composer famous for writing the 1966 Batman TV Show Theme Song, has died at age 85. It's not exactly known yet how he passed away in his home but the family believes it is from natural causes. Through out the 1960's & 70's he wrote many songs that we all know. One example, other than the famous BATMAN THEME, is THE ODD COUPLE TV Theme Song. In an interview he once said that the batman Theme was the hardest piece of music he ever wrote.
