Vintage 1966 BATMAN Kellogg's POP-TARTS Comic Book Premium

I have a friend named Jim who writes a cool blog called TUGLEY WOOD. It's all about pop culture, comics, animation, etc... It's main focus is Vintage Disney animation history but he also posts a lot of different things too. Anyway, he recently scanned an entire comic book story that's really neat to read. Actually, it's not a "comic book", but it's one of those booklets that was a free premium give-away inside Kellogg's Pop-Tarts in 1966 ( Look at the original box packaging up above, drool! ). There were 6 different comics to collect. The one at his site is the Penguin story titled, "The Penguin's Foul Play". The vintage artwork is really great to see & it's also a fun read. So, check out this LINK, where you can read the whole thing.

Kenner's SUPER POWERS 25th Anniversary - The JOKER Action Figure!

Besides having a lot of superheroes in the Kenner SUPER POWERS Action Figures line-up they also featured some really evil Super-Villains too! One of my personal favorites was this great figure of The JOKER! He's wearing his classic purple suit & his weapon accessory was really great too. It was a Giant-Mallet Hammer that, if you look closely, had his face & evil grin on it, a very nice detail. The action figure also came with a special Comic Book. Well, more like a booklet. But the artwork was amazing & it was a fun story. In fact, I posted a scan of it here for you to enjoy...have fun!

Kenner's SUPER POWERS 25th Anniversary - The PENGUIN Action Figure!

OK, after just featuring the Joker I knew I couldn't leave out The Penguin! ACK ACK! He was another "Batman Super Villain" mixed into the group of characters in the Kenner SUPER POWERS Action Figure line-up! I remember having this toy a long time ago & it's really wonderful to revisit him once again! Originally, he came with an umbrella-weapon accessory ( shown here ). Also, just like the "Joker Figure" post, I'm showing a reprint of the original mini-comic booklet that came with the figure...enjoy!
