Here's a very well-made video featuring our friend Yuji Ueda. He's a big Batman Toy Collector & his main focus is the Japanese items from the 1960's. In fact, the video is sort of a tour of famous Vintage Toy Shops in Japan ( Yes, that would be my dream vacation, ha! ). But, as you'll see from this interview, he also likes the modern day stuff as well. OK, get ready to drool!

WARNING: Here's a couple of pictures of part of an amazing Batman Tin Toy Collection that will make you drool for hours. I'm warning you now that if you stare too long at these pics then you will start to cry...this stuff is that cool & that rare, ha! These photos are from our friend "BAT-CAT" who lives in Thailand. There are many examples of some super-rare Japanese Tin Toy Robots. I love that the Dark Knight has been so popular in Japan! Well, the pair of Batman & Robin Bubble Bath SOAKY Containers ( far left ) are from the USA, ©1966. So is the "Jack Nicholson Joker" & "Michael Keaton Batman" Tin Toy Robots on the lower right-hand side. I remember when those came out around the time of the 1989 movie. Also, the 2 vinyl figures on the very far right, where Batman & Robin look sort of like cute little children, those are from the 1970's & were sold in the USA. Everything else is pretty much from the 1960's & "Made In Japan". WOW! What a great selection of very hard to find bat-collectibles!! ( Thanks Bat-Cat ).

This set of photos is from our friend "Bat-Cat" who lives in Thailand. They show an amazing piece from his Vintage Batman Toy Collection. Now, see that Japanese Batman Tin Toy Robot in the RED color? Well, Bat-Cat says it is probably the only one in the world! Now, that's SUPER-RARE, ha ha! Red is such a weird color for Batman to be wearing. Did they run out of blue at the factory? Either way this thing is beautiful. Thanks to Bat-Cat for sharing the pics. Do you have a favorite piece of bat-merchandise at your house? Send us a photo today!

Here's 2 photos recently sent in by a loyal BAT-BLOG reader who really loves the 1960's toys. He wrote, " Hey BAT-BLOG, I love this website man & visit daily! My favorite photos are the ones of the cool Batman toys made in the sixties so I thought I would contribute some, hope you post them! One is a RARE 1960's Tin Toy Robot from Japan & the other is the, now classic, 1966 Batman Hot-Line Bat-Phone made by MARX." Wow! Thanks, Gary!! Both of these pieces of Bat-Memorabilia are extremely RARE & we're actually honored to show them off for you, ha ha! Seriously, these are extremely cool & we appreciate the pix! Thanks again & please feel free to send in any other photos. If any other readers have pictures of some of their favorite Bat-Nostalgia then we want to invite you to send them in to us too!! It can be one item, a humor photo, a Batman Birthday Cake / Party, or a pic of your whole collection!!

Shown in the 1st photo is an original 1960's BATMAN TIN TOY ROBOT from Japan that is a holy grail to all toy collectors. It's shown with the original box, which is probably 100 times more RARE than the actual toy, ha ha!! The 2nd photo is a brand new BATMAN ROBOT Custom Toy made by a friend of the Bat-Blog & being sold on eBay. ( Sorry, By the time you read this it might have already sold ). We are all really impressed with how well-done both the robot toy & box are made. We mean, the head looks exactly like Adam West & the Bat-Belt has some really great detailing...nice job!! Be sure to check the BAT-BLOG ARCHIVES for many more Custom & Vintage Batman Toys!!
