BATMAN and THE JOKER Fabric Wall Scroll Hangings!

OK, remember along time ago, during the early 1989 Batman movie there were some GIANT-SIZE Fabric Wall Scroll Hangings with Batman graphics that were pretty cool. Well, a company recently created a few modern-day products using retro-style graphics from the 1980's. There are a few fabric banners with the Caped Crusader & one with the Joker. The first 3, shown here, are being sold at Superherostuff & the last banner ( clip art ) will be available at TFAW ( links down below, just do a search for "batman wall" ). I totally love the 1st two with the Batman & Joker graphics. These images are completely iconic!

THE DARK KNIGHT & BATMAN BEGINS in Singapore!

A new friend to the Bat-Blog, named Kuan, sent us these 2 wonderful photos in response to a previous post where we showed some advertising billboards & banners from New York City for The Dark Knight Batman movie. Kuan lives in Singapore & recently saw some outdoor signs for The Dark Knight. Well, the amazing thing too is that he got some pictures from when the movie Batman Begins was showing there a few years ago! As you can see from the dates on the photos they were both taken on almost the same day but 3 years apart! Wow, how cool is that?! I want to personally thank Kuan for sending in these great pics, Thanks! And while I'm at it, I wanna invite all our other readers to do the same. ( On a side note, I think it's amazing getting communication from a guy all the way in Singapore. I love the internet! )

THE DARK KNIGHT Batman Movie Advertising Banners and Billboards

Recently the Bat-Blog has been receiving a lot of e-mail from people who are totally excited about some movie called The Dark Knight. It sounds pretty cool so I might have to check in to it, ha ha! Anyway, I wanna thank everybody who wrote, especially the 3 people who attached these 3 awesome TDK-related photos they shot in their hometowns. The 1st one is a HUGE Advertising Banner in Times Square & it was big enough that I could make it into a BATMAN WALLPAPER. So, be sure to click on that one for the larger image you can use as a desktop background. The 2nd photo is really neat too. It's an Advertising Banner on the side of a bus. Not sure where it's from but it looks cool! The 3rd example is really wonderful for 2 reasons. First, it's a great picture of a large "Joker" banner but also, it shows some outdoor mural art done by Keith Haring. Haring was a famous Pop Artist from the 1980's who also did some graffiti art. See that small "cube" with bright colors just under the Joker picture? That's Haring! This is also in NYC. If you, the reader, have any cool photos like this then please send them in. Advertising Banner For BATMAN: MYSTERY OF THE BATWOMAN Animated DVD Movie

Here at the Bat-Blog we have a friend named "Brohawk" who's an extremely talented graphic artist. His work is featured on the cover to the BATMAN: MYSTERY OF THE BATWOMAN Animated DVD Movie that came out a few years ago. Here's a photo I found at his personal website & had to share it. It seems that Warner Bros, around the time of the release of this movie, put up this HUGE vinyl banner advertising the event. "Brohawk" is shown here in the 2 photos. In the 1st one you can see how GIANT-SIZED this thing was, look how tiny he is compared to it... it's HUGE, ha ha! This must have been an amazing day for him seeing his work so large-scale like this & personally I am kinda proud of it too.

THE DARK KNIGHT ADVERTISING: Batman on Park Avenue!

In New York City, on the northeast corner of Park Ave and 23rd Street, a massive advertisement for the new DARK KNIGHT Batman film is being created. In an almost paint-by-numbers fashion this HUGE mural is taking forever to be painted. It gives the "event" an anticipation that must be driving fast-paced New Yorkers nuts! I seriously love these huge painted murals on buildings. This one, so far, looks like a beautiful piece of ART! Of course we all know it as the image to one of the many movie posters we have been seeing recently but to have it this HUGE is kind of exciting! I wish I could see it in real-life. I bet it's great. I wanna thank our new friend Michael, from Desedo Films, for sending this information. He writes a clever blog for his company that seems to really be into advertising & creativity, that's cool. The 2 New DARK KNIGHT Batman Movie International Banner Posters

Great, Another Omelete Exclusive! OK, The beautiful Dark Knight International Movie Posters just came out the other day ( See the previous posting at the Bat-Blog ) & now this, a Giant Advertising Banner!
