They feature the amazing photography of David Ellis, one of the Official Photographers for the UK show. They're very minimal, just the car, but they make really great backgrounds. Please give them a try! Also, don't be greedy & please share them with all your friends, ha!

Photo: BATMAN TATTOO ART - Bat-Symbol Logo

WOW, Since we have not posted a Batman Tattoo Photo in awhile I thought it would be a good idea to do one today! This photo was sent to us by a new friend we met at MySpace. His page is called "WicketToys" & he is totally into photography. He's also a Major Toy Collector. His main focus seems to be the line of Hot Toys Figures. But, wait a minute, back to the Bat-Tattoo, haha! As you can see by the photo, it's a small "Bat-Symbol Logo" on the back of his neck. I like the clean design, very simple. I wanna thank him for allowing us to publish his pic & if you're curious about his work then please be sure to visit his Flickr page where you can see some of his Collectible Toy Photography. It's located right HERE!

Batman + Fine Art = Cool!

Our friend Brian sent us this extremely cool Black & White Art Photo that shows Batman waking up & getting out of bed. Apparently, he lives in a super-minimalist house ...Awesome!

The next picture was one that I found from an art gallery that had a show of "Blotter Acid Art". Blotter Art is a movement that gained popularity a few years ago where they print designs on a perforated-sheet of actual LSD Acid Blotter Paper. They look kinda neat when framed & have sort of a political statement automatically attached because of the "drug culture" aspect of the paper. For non-druggies this is the kind of paper drug dealers use to sell LSD. They drip the chemical onto each square & when addicts buy them they tear off some squares. If you don't want a full dose you just tear a piece in half, or a "half hit". Of course these Batman ones don't have the drug dipped on them. They're just for looks.

Photo: I'm BATMAN!! a Cute Kid in Costume Mask

I saw this very funny humor photo of a little kid on Flickr the other day, cracks me up!! He looks so cute & actually he doesn't look too happy about wearing this Batman costume mask. His expression sorta says, "OK, Hurry up & take the picture already!", ha ha! Anyway, it's a great piece of art ( yes, Photography is ART ) & I knew my readers would love it as much as me.

Vintage 1960's BATMAN & ROBIN Carnival Souvenir Photo

Here's a random photo I saw on Flickr the other night & thought it was too good to not share. It's a Vintage 1960's Carnival Souvenir Photo showing a little kid poking his head through a hole to have his picture taken. The background has a painted scene of Batman & Robin. The end result? It made the kid look like Robin....very cool!

Groovy Sixties Mod Fashion Model Photography 1960's

Fans of both Pop Art & Vintage Clothing are gonna freak out over these groovy photos! The 2 large photos up above that look like "comic book pages", with fashion models dressed in mod clothing, were photographed by the famous Fashion Photographer Ronald Traeger in the 1960's. I'm not sure which fashion magazine it was published in but it's pretty cool! ( I got these pics from a blog about vintage mod clothes but forgot to save the URL so if you know please let me know so I can give credit ). The third smaller picture of the mod girl with the Batman mask was from another article in another magazine & was sent in by a loyal BAT-BLOG Reader, Thanx Molly! Click the small pictures to see photos large enough to read, they're kinda funny!
