OK, I've been sort of a slacker lately about publishing the BATMAN TATTOO ART photos & I really don't have an excuse except that I wanted to sort of chill with them a little bit. But lately we got a few sent in by some Bat-Blog Fans & they're so GREAT that I know we had to post them. The 1st one features the JOKER pointing a gun in your face, POW! This belongs to our friend Michael who said he was mainly inspired by Jack Nicholson's performance in the 1989 Batman movie. The artwork looks like something from the Batman: The Animated Series cartoon, how awesome is that?! The next one belongs to our friend James who got a modern-day BAT-SYMBOL LOGO on his chest. OUCH! That must have hurt, ha! But it looks pretty cool so I guess the pain was worth it. Speaking of pain...The last pic shows the largest tattoo in the bunch. It's JOKER standing in the entrance of Arkham Asylum. This one belongs to a guy named Tom & he shared the fact that this JOKER was inspired by the recent video game. POW! Batman-inspired Graphic Art at Target Retail Stores!

A friend of mine over at a Message Board I belong to found these POP ART Wall Hangings the other night at a Target Store. They're in their "Decorating Interior Design" area where they have a bunch of Clocks, Lamps, Framed Pictures & other Home Accessories. They're designed to look a lot like the 1966 Batman TV Show where they had POW! & BANG! appear on the screen. OK, how fun is that?! Now while they are not exactly "Batman merchandise" they are still kind of cool! If anything these would be great for a little kid's bedroom or baby nursery room. Let me know if you get any. I'm feeling pretty tired so I thought I would just post a few very funny Batman-related Comic Strips & Humor Photos. ( My favorite is the one with the cute kid who has chocolate pudding all over his face. He really does look like the Joker from THE DARK KNIGHT movie, ha ha ha! )

Funny Funny Funny BATMAN Humor Photos!

OK, Many Bat-Blog Readers send us great photos all the time & I totally appreciate that. I mean, I've always said that if the Bat-Blog is any good at all then it's because of that reason. Here are some great examples: The 1st pic is a recent submission of a "found photo". The guy who sent it said he can't remember the site he found it on but he thought it was pretty funny & knew we would like it. It's a Batman T-Shirt that is a parody of the Apple iPod Advertising. It shows the Dark Knight listening to music on his iPod & it's attached to his bat-belt...hilarious! The next pic was found by our good friend Bob. It's an actual tourist photo of a "Cambodian Batman Taxi". It's a large Bicycle-Cart that is pulled by a Moped Motorcycle. I think they call these things TUK-TUK. There is actually an entire sub-culture revolving around these very unique vehicles. Do a Web-Search sometime & you'll see a ton of great pics. This one, of the "Batmobile Tuk-Tuk" is extremely inventive & it really looks like it would be pretty fun to zoom around town in. If I were on vacation in Cambodia I would totally go for it! The last photo was e-mailed to me the other night & when I opened it I completely cracked-up, ha ha! It's Batman showing the Joker some of his favorite movies he has appeared in & the Joker has a correct response! Well, hopefully you got a good laugh! Catwoman herself, Hollywood icon, actress, and author Julie Newmar, will join us in person as the Paley Center presents this exclusive preview of Julie Newmar: A Life in Motion, a world premiere photographic exhibition at the David W. Streets Fine Art and Photography Gallery in Beverly Hills, featuring the performer as captured by Bert Stern, John Engstead, and Bernard of Hollywood, among others. At the Paley Center event, Ms. Newmar will introduce a special screening of the Biography special, Julie Newmar: The Cat's Meow, and be on hand for a sneak preview of select imagery from the exhibit in the Paley Center's Bell Family Gallery. CURI, The Coolest Bat-Cat in Town!

Here's a really nice set of photos sent in by our friend Jessica. This is her "Bat-Cat" named CURI. I bet you noticed that awesome Batman Bat-Symbol Logo Pet Tag, right? She explains, "When the Dark Knight movie was first released in theaters, PetSmart had a limited edition dog tag. It engraved your information, or pet's information, in gold on the back and was tres chic with the bat symbol on the front." Yeah, I gotta agree with her that it is pretty cool. Back then, a few months ago, I went to a ton of stores trying to find this tag. Finally did & bought the very last one. A few weeks later our dog was stolen & this Bat-Tag actually was the main purpose for the phone call we got from the "PET LOST" wanted poster that got her back. So, for me, personally seeing this tag again is really nice. I mean, it saved my dog's life! But that's a whole other story I plan to share later. Right now I wanna thank Jessica for sharing these super-cute pics, Curi looks like an awesome cat, & I appreciate you taking the time to send them!! FUNNY BATMAN HUMOR: Photos, Pictures, & Comic Strips

This post is just a simple "image dump" where each picture is pretty self-explanatory. They are all totally funny in their own way but I guess the 1st one needs a little explaining. My good friend Dave was recently traveling through Oklahoma when all of a sudden he's like, "Oh My God! Stop the car! We gotta get a photo of this funny mailbox for Tommy's Bat-Blog!!". Ya'see Dave & a buddy were driving around near Stillwater, OK when all of a sudden they saw this mailbox for BAT MAN. Actually, at one time, it was for "BATEMAN", but the "E" fell off, ha ha ha! ( Thanks Dave for sending the wacky photo, I love it! ). Oh yeah, the comic strip FULL FRONTAL NERDITY is kinda small here but if you click on it you can see a larger, more readable, version...please do so because it's pretty funny! Plus, you might wanna visit that cartoonist's website because most of his stuff is just really great.

Our friend Noah sent us some really nice pics the other day that I have been wanting to get on here. The 1st one is his sweet little daughter & she looks so cute as BATGIRL! It's so cool that she loves Batman so much. It's proof that she's being brought-up right! The next photo is her Dad all dressed up & I don't even think it was actually Halloween that day, ha ha! Then, the last 2 show him in real-life events where he has met the "real Batman"...twice! Thanks Noah for sending these in, they're all great but I really love the one of your cute kid, she's precious! GO BATGIRL GO!!

Funny BATMAN Comic Strip & Humor Photos

HA HA HA HA! Here's a nice assortment of very humorous comic strips, photos, & pictures that are all Batman-related. The 1st one is a parody of the Pokemon Pikachu character, it kinda cracks me up. Then there's the popular "Dark Knight" photo comic strip with Batman & Joker. Then the last one is a comic that appeared in a British Newspaper & was done around the time that Christian Bale was arrested in the UK. It was during the Dark Knight Batman movie premiere there & not the "Terminator Movie Set Scandal" that's going on now. I guess the lady is his Mother? Billy's Batmobile Collection : Part One

It's kinda weird. I know a ton of major Batman Collectors all over the world but here where I actually live ( Oklahoma City, OK ) I only know one. His name is Billy. He has an amazing Batman collection. I guess I should say "Batmobile Car collection" because that's his main focus. We have recently become friends & one day at lunch he said, "As soon as I get my new digital camera I'll have to send you some pics for the Bat-Blog." So, the other day I received a few e-mails loaded with these photos. Now the funny thing is that he made a special frame template to use with the pictures...I didn't know he was gonna go that far but they look pretty cool, very professional! This 1st set of photos show sort of 3 different catagories: Cookie Jars, Pillows, & Slot Car Sets. Billy, thank you for taking the time to photograph these. They look great & I appreciate that a lot! BATMAN as SANTA CLAUS Holiday Christmas Graphics

A friend to the Bat-Blog sent these very cool "Batman as Santa Claus" xmas pictures he wanted to share ( Thanks Kevin ). He explains that he "loves both Batman & Christmas" and that he got these images in a portfolio of Bruce Timm's artwork. Timm, of course, was the director & designer for Batman: The Animated Series. That's why these graphics have a "cartoon look" about them...they're AWESOME!
