STREETS OF GOTHAM - FULL THROTTLE Batman the Brave and The Bold - Flash Video Game

Over at the DC BEYOND website they have a new free online BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD 3D Flash Video Game called "STREETS OF GOTHAM: FULL THROTTLE!". It looks pretty cool! I have not played it yet but it's a race car racing game with Batman, Catwoman, Green Arrow, The Joker, The Huntress, Green Lantern &, I think, Wildcat. The goal is to win a few races, in a row, so you can unlock a new vehicle for Batman. Oh, it's the BAT-JET! Yes, you get to fly around the track! Here's a link to check it out, just click HERE!

BATMAN ORIGINAL ART By Joe Pekar, Part 1

A good friend to the Bat-Blog, known as "The BAT-FAN", recently sent us a few photos of some of his incredible Batman Art Collection. In fact, there were so many that I had to break them up a little bit & will feature more in the near future. The artwork you see here are watercolors all done by Joe Pekar. He commissioned the artist to custom-make these just for him. The Superhero Characters include: Batgirl, Batman, Robin, & The Huntress. As you can see they are truly beautiful. Thank you "Bat-Fan" for sending these great pics, I appreciate that. If any other readers have Batman-themed art to share then please send it in. Also, if you would like to check out more of Joe Pekar's pin-up art then here's a link button to his website:

Batman-Themed Christmas Holiday Gingerbread Cookies Art

"Striking gingerbread fear into the hearts of holiday evil-doers!!!" The other day I got an e-mail from a Bat-Blog Reader named Chris who wrote, "I hate Christmas stuff, my wife loves Christmas stuff. Knowing I'm a huge Batman fan she tried to keep me interested this year by suggesting that our family gingerbread decorations be Batman themed. It worked!" Wow, it did work! Chris sent me a link to his newly created website where he & his wife share their gingerbread cookie creations that are all Batman-themed. There are a ton of different characters & it was actually kinda hard to pick a few examples ( like the ones shown here ) but they are ALL really amazing! I like that they did a lot of obscure characters & not just the main-stream ones. But, they did those too, ha ha! There's no way for me to show all the ones they did so you will have to visit their page to see them all. Chris, thanks for sending the link, & tell your wife she's a very talented smart woman!

BATMAN TATTOO ART : ROBIN & HUNTRESS from George Perez Comic Book Art

Last month ( Jan 19th ) we featured a cool Batman-Related Tattoo here at the BAT-BLOG that got alot of attention. Actually it was a CATWOMAN Tattoo & people really loved it, it's quite good. Well, a reader named "OJ" saw it & said he had one by the same artist. He wrote, "Thanks to tattoo artist Patrick Cornolo I was introduced to your nifty website here. It has quickly become one of my favorites! I have a whole slew of comic book-flavored tattoos, thanks to Patrick, and as of right now I have only one truly Batman-themed Tattoo. It is of the Robin and Huntress of Earth 2 and it is on my chest close to my right shoulder. The original art is credited to George Perez, of whom I'm a huge fan, and it's from the cover of CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS #11 ( Feb 1986 ). I got a couple of ideas in the hopper, and eventually I will get around to having a genuine Batman tattoo completed. I'll keep you posted!". Up above are pics of his tattoo & the original source from which it was inspired. If you look at both pieces of artwork you can see how good it really is. Thanx OJ for the story & pics. Please keep us informed with the NEW Batman Tattoo when ya get it! Be sure to check the BAT-BLOG ARCHIVES for other Batman-inspired Tattoo Art!
