Video - THE DARK KNIGHT Batman movie - Apple APP Edition

A friend on Facebook sent me this great video & it's really cool! It's from Warner Bros and promotes the new APP for THE DARK KNIGHT Batman movie. You can download it for your Apple iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch and then enjoy the movie plus special features. Personally, I don't have an iPad...but really want one now, ha!

BATMAN WALLPAPERS - PC Desktop & Apple iPod or iPhone

Please try to remember two things - 1. The Bat-Blog is your #1 Source for Great BATMAN Wallpaper Backgrounds. 2. We post brand-new exclusive wallpapers every Wednesday. We call it, "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday"! OK, this week I thought I would use a Splash Page from a current Batman Comic Book. Actually, it's issue #697. The details are pretty cool & it features a ton of great characters like Batgirl, The Huntress, Red Robin, Man-Bat, Wildcat, & many more! The Artwork was Penciled by Tony S. Daniel, Inked by Sandu Florea, & the Coloring was done by Ian Hannin. Using the one graphic I made 3 versions: The 1st one is pretty straight-forward, it's the comic book page. The 2nd one is the exact same thing but toned-down ( way lighter ) so it won't mess with you being able to see your desktop icons ( some people like that ). And the 3rd one is formatted to fit the screen of an Apple iPod Touch or iPhone. Also, the other iPod Wallpaper is the future cover art to BATMAN # 700, which is starting to become very popular ( this was a request by a Bat-Blog Fan. Cool Japanese BATMAN Apple iPod Earphones

In Japan there is a company called SKULL-CANDY who makes these very cool Audio Earphone Sets for your Mp3 Players, mainly the Apple iPod . Here are 2 they made with a Batman & Superman Theme. The neat thing is that I think they come with a set of Vinyl Figures too! Sorry, Not really sure. The Japan-based website I found these on was totally Japanese & I could NOT read a thing, ha ha! But either way these look like a lot of fun. As you can see, the ear-pieces have a set of snap-on "Bat-Logo" covers. But I gotta say that I totally love the vinyl figures way more!

BATMAN WALLPAPER BACKGROUNDS - Andy Kubert's BRUCE WAYNE IS BACK & Wacky JAPANESE BOOTLEG Graphics!

Alright! It's "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" again here at the Bat-Blog & this week we have some really really weird stuff. Now most of you know our Batman Wallpapers are usually breathtaking, plus elegant & tasteful, ha ha! Well, they still are this time but they're also kinda strange. The 1st one is using Japanese graphics from a Vintage 1960's "Batman Toy Briefcase". It was a bootleg item from Japan & that explains the unusual coloring. But it's a great part of Bat-history so there you go! the next image is from a future DC Comics Batman comic book showing the "Return of Bruce Wayne". Well, sort of. You see, when "Bruce Wayne Batman" was killed by Darkseid awhile back he wasn't really killed but sent back in time. He awakes much later & his mind is confused plus he doesn't quite know where he is or what his name is ( something like that ) &, the kicker, he still becomes "Batman" anyway! Oh yeah, he becomes the Dark Knight in the "Caveman Days", ha ha! But don't laugh. I think this is gonna be an extremely cool storyline ( or at least let's hope so ). The artwork here is done by Andy Kubert & it's totally totally incredible. Now, don't forget, the large wallpapers are for your computer desktop & the small ones are formatted to fit the screen of an Apple iPod Touch or iPhone...enjoy!

BATMAN AND ROBIN - Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!

Alright, today we're doing sort of a test of something new to see how it goes! You know we always post a few Brand-New Free Batman Theme Wallpaper Backgrounds every week but I thought, besides the regular PC Desktop ones, we would also add some Apple Computer Backgrounds just in case you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch ( Please let me know if they work, I still have not tested them yet ). I mean, seems like a good idea, right? Besides, it's "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" so let's go crazy!! Now, the colorized version, with Batman & Robin swinging through the sky of Gotham City, was made using artwork by an extremely talented Graphic Artist named Dean Trippe. I have always liked Dean's work & his special cartoon-style. Just "Google his name" sometime & you'll see some really cool stuff! The 2nd wallpaper, that is mostly Black & White, is artwork from Paul Pope. His work always seems to have a crazy energy! OK, please let me know which Wallpaper Background you like the best. FREE BATMAN WALLPAPERS For Apple iPod Touch & iPhone Backgrounds

The other night I decided to walk to the store because it's stupid to drive my truck just one block & back. Part of my New Year's Resolution is to try to lessen my carbon-imprint on the planet. I have even started to obsessively recycle, ha ha! But anyway I guess I got rewarded by karma because on my way I looked down on the ground & thought, "Oh my God, an iPhone!". But after picking it up I discovered that it was a brand-new iPod Touch, 32 Gb...WOW! Now the thing needs to be recharged & I will be borrowing a charger to do that. If the owner's info is on there in anyway then I will return it, but if not, it's mine. I mean, "finder's keepers, loser's weepers"...right? Upon researching this amazing piece of hardware I discovered that there's a lot of people who like to share "Wallpaper Background" images for this thing ( & the iPhone too ). So, I made a few to share here. If you have either device please try one of these & let me know if they work correctly. I'm pretty sure I made them the right size.

Freeware: BATMAN BATMOBILE Desktop Icon Sets 1&2

Recently I needed some "icon graphics" for a project & totally by accident found these incredible Batman-Theme Desktop Icons that are extremely cool! They represent the many different Batmobiles that Batman has had over the years: The Tumbler from Batman Begins & The Dark Knight, The 1989 Movie Car, The 1940's Comic Book Version, One that looks like the Superpowers Action Figure Toy Car by Kenner, The Animated Series, etc...way too many to list here! They are broke down into 2 different sets: Volume1 and 2. The link button down below takes you to the first set & then just click the "Search For Similar Items" button under that & look in FREEWARE ( purple area ) for Volume #2. They're really great & are in both Windows & Apple formats.

Free BATMAN ICON SET For Apple OS X Desktop Apps

Batman Icon Set 1.0 is a free icon & folder set for Apple OS X, ranging from the classic to the modern. Please keep in mind that these ONLY work on newer Apple Personal Computers & NOT Windows PCs. I don't have an Apple so I have not been able to test them. I just think they look great & if you're a Batman Fan ( with an Apple ) then you might love them too. Custom BATMAN LOGO Apple MacBook Air Computer

Here's some pictures I have been meaning to post for awhile but got sort of side-tracked because I have been so busy, sorry. A friend named Craig, who lives in Scotland, sent these photos showing his new Apple MacBook Air Computer that he customized with a Batman Movie Logo like the one in Batman Begins & The Dark Knight. Now, I don't use Apple because they're sort of too expensive for me ( I'm poor, ha ha ) but I really do love the design of their products. They already make some really cool stuff but Craig made his MacBook Air even cooler! He wrote, "I call this my BATBOOK AIR, the Apple logo glows when its on causing the Batsignal to glow as well!" Thanks Craig for sending these nice pics, you did a great job on this customization...awesome! If any other Bat-Blog Readers have done something like this then please shoot us an e-mail, thanks.
