Video - DONUTS The Batman Cat!!
Here's a fun video sent in by our friend Michael. He and his wife made their cat, DONUTS, a Batman costume for Halloween. They did a really great job on it and, personally, I like that it's the older "vintage 1970's retro-style" outfit with the blue & gray colors, very cool! So, Here's DONUTS IN ACTION!

BATMAN The Giant-Size Grizzly Bear!!

The Bat-Blog Batman Fan Site always strives to share all the current Batman news. Stuff like "The Dark Knight Rises" Movie, Comics, New Toys & Collectibles, the TV Cartoon, etc... but sometimes we share wacky-funny stuff. Here's a great example! This is a wonderful photo sent in by our friend Daniel. He explains, "This is a wooden bear statue outside my housing development that the management dresses up in various seasonal costumes throughout the year. For Halloween this year he was sporting a child's Batman costume (with a mask from The Dark Knight movie, guess the one that came with the costume didn't fit his snout!) how cool is that?" Oh yeah, it is extremely cool! Thank you Dan. If any other Bat-Blog Readers have fun stuff like this to share then please do. Our e-mail button is always on the top right-hand side of this page.

VIDEO - Carter's BATMAN Batmobile Car Wheelchair
OK, I thought this video was sort of heart-warming. It shows a kid named Carter who, for Halloween, had a special custom "Batmobile Car" made for his wheelchair. The theme of the chair went with his Batman Halloween Costume. Now, how cool is that?! I think it's pretty clever. Go Carter, GO!

Halloween Episode of "The BATMAN" This Weekend on Boomerang!

This Sunday, October 31st, look for a fun episode of THE BATMAN with a Special Halloween holiday theme. It will be on the Boomerang Network at 11:30 pm ( Eastern Time, check your local listings ). The title of the show is "Grundy's Night," it's a fan-favorite from the 2nd season of the series. Just to be clear, I'd like to mention that this is the animated series that ran from 2004 to 2008, it's NOT "The Brave and The Bold". The basic plot is that Solomon Grundy rises from a swamp on Halloween to wreak havoc on Gotham City. Of course the Dark Knight is there to spoil his plans... sounds like a good time, check it out!

Pumpkin Town U.S.A. Does BATMAN and ROBIN Theme!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! These extremely fun photos are from our friend Chris, who lives in Illinois & every year they have what they call "Pumpkin Town U.S.A.", which is exhibited for a week around the city. The theme changes every year and for 2010 they chose to do "Heroes and Villains". Then, the local High School picked "Batman" as the theme for their display. Here are just a few examples! Check out this amazing creativity, I totally love this! They have made scarecrows of the Caped Crusader, Robin, the Batmobile ( ha ha ), The Joker ( both the comic book version & Heath Ledger from The Dark Knight movie ), & Two-Face!! Well, they have not made the complete costume for Two-Face yet but they have made the pumpkin head for him & you can already tell it's gonna be very cool. I love the photo where Batman and Robin are working out on the weight bench & Batman is spotting Robin, hilarious!! Also, the Batmobile ( Riding Lawnmower ) is great stuff!! I wanna thank Chris for sharing this wonderful story with us & taking the great pics....this is fun! Plus, This is just in time to wake-up the Halloween spirit!!

THE JOKER - HALLOWEEN COSTUME Wallpaper Backgrounds

Here are some amazing photos sent in by our friend Damon showing him dressed-up as The JOKER from THE DARK KNIGHT Movie ( Heath Ledger version ). Both the make-up & costume look incredible. In fact, this would probably be one of the best Batman Costumes at any Halloween party! Now the pics he sent were pretty BIG so as a bonus I thought I would make them JOKER WALLPAPERS. Yes, you can use these images as a background to brighten your PC desktop.

BATMAN AND ROBIN Halloween Costume Memories

OK, I know Halloween is over but the Batman Costume Photos are ALWAYS a total joy to see all year round! Plus, 2 different Bat-Blog Readers just sent these in & they're so neat I have to share them. The 1st photo is from a very proud parent named Jim. These 2 Caped Crusaders are his sons & the costumes were homemade by his Wife ( she did a great job ). The picture was taken back in 1993 & these kids are now young adults going to college. The next photo is pretty funny! This is our friend Jeff & he dressed-up as the Dark Knight last Halloween to hand out candy at his house. He said he was kinda shocked that a lot of little kids were totally scared of Batman. Well, he does sort of look like a Giant-Bat, ha ha! But he said that most of them had fun & overall, it was a great experience, that cool. Thanks to both Jim & Jeff for sending these fun pics, I really appreciate that. I want to invite all Bat-Blog Fans to do the same!

BAT-SQUAD 2009: Batman, Catwoman, & Batgirl!

Here are some awesome pics from last Halloween sent in by a Bat-Blog Fan named BatDave, The Drunk Knight ( who lives in New Jersey ). He wrote,
I was fortunate enough to talk my girlfriend Lisa and her stunning pal Delia into being my own personal Batgirl and Catwoman for a huge Halloween party in Woodbridge, NJ. I realize that our costumes are an amalgam of various Bat-phases, but the crowd went wild when we entered the nite club. Especially when my 2 ladies broke into a mock cat fight!! We won a $200 second prize and had an incredible night of super heroic fun!!( Jealous ) Hey Dave, I think you guys should have got 1st Place. That contest must have surely been rigged! Lisa & Delia both look totally awesome & their costumes are great! Yours is not too shabby either. It looks like you Party Animals had a lot of fun & that's very cool. Thanks for sending the wonderful pics, they're great!

ROBIN, THE GIRL WONDER!!

OK, no matter who you are, you HAVE GOT to admit that this is the cutest little girl you have ever seen! This is our friend Gavin's Daughter who dressed up like Robin ( The Girl Wonder! ) last Halloween. He explains a lot of the stuff you see in the photos a lot better than I could so check this out:
This year my 2 1/2 year old daughter and I dressed up as Robin and Batman. We spent some time designing and making her costume, which she got such a kick out of and it turned out pretty good. We looked up pictures from the comics when Stephanie Brown had a short stint as Robin and we did what we could to mimic her costume. I joined her as a hastily-put-together Batman. Our church had a "trunk-or-treat" event where we handed out candy from the decorated trunks of our cars. We went with a Gotham City backdrop. It was fun watching some of the kids come around trick-or-treating and stare at the action figures in the trunk, thinking they were so cool.OK, That explains the Gotham City scene in the car! I was really confused by that when I first saw it but totally get it now. Wow! That's a pretty cool idea & very creative, I love it! But what I mostly like are the costumes. I think it's really neat when parents & children dress-up in matching costumes, especially as Batman characters. That's always very sweet & I'm sure that the kids always get a total kick out of it. OK, The parents have fun too but you know what I mean! Thank you Gavin for sharing your story & wonderful pics with us. Please tell your daughter that she makes an excellent Robin!
