People who have been reading the Bat-Blog for awhile might enjoy this, I hope, ha! But I was recently interviewed by a fellow Blogger & Batman Fan, named Jon, who writes the awesome RANDOM ACTS OF GEEKERY website. At his site he wrote some profiles of "Comic Book Related" Bloggers called "The Way of The Geek". I was # 6 in the series. Wow! It was really an honor to be included in this group of Writers. I know some of them, so that's kinda cool. Basically, Jon sent me a ton of questions to answer & I answered them. Then, he edited the content. I really didn't know how it was going to come out but now, after seeing the finished product, Jon did a great job with it. Billie Rae Bates, Comics Continuum Cub-Reporter!

Ahhhh, look. While surfing the web the other night I came across some photos showing our good friend Billie Rae Bates doing some interviews at Comic Con International! Wow!! She is now a video reporter for the "Comics Continuum" website. Billie does a really great job here & I'm very proud of her. She got to interview a lot of people directly involved with different areas of the Batman character. Like, Actor Bruce Greenwood ( Batman: Under The Red Hood ) & Producer James Tucker ( Batman: The Brave and The Bold ). Neal Adams is set to do an interview on the "Where Monsters Dwell" podcast. The word 'legendary' gets thrown around a lot these days but in this case it certainly fits the bill. From his work re-establishing Batman as a dark brooding figure to his work making Green Lantern/Green Arrow 'relevant' and from his work on a few small Marvel properties like X-Men and Avengers, Neal Adams has cemented himself as a legend in the comics industry. He joins WMD this week to chat about creator rights, how the industry has changed since he got in, his new Batman series 'Odyssey' and his new sketchbook coming from Vanguard Publishing 'The Art of Neal Adams'. New Motor Trend Magazine Does 1966 Batmobile Story & Adam West Interview!

Here are a few images from the summer edition of MOTOR TREND CLASSIC magazine where they do an article on the 1966 BATMAN TV Show BATMOBILE George Barris Custom Car & then an interview with Adam West...looks pretty cool! Video: Rare 1988 ADAM WEST INTERVIEW on TV-am Show

Back in 1988 Adam West appeared on British television's TV-am. He was there to discuss a "possible Batman movie" that could be made. I think he sort of knew that the 1989 BATMAN film was in development & he really wanted the part. Of course we all know that Michael Keaton ended up getting the role. The interesting thing here is that Adam West thought the new movie should be "darker" or "more modern".

Yes, "Outrageous!". We also get to hear from James Arnold Taylor, who plays 2 different superheroes on the show: Guy Gardner & Green Arrow.

New MTV Interview with Alicia Silverstone ( About 1997's Batman and Robin )

This video is about when Alicia Silverstone dropped by the MTV offices to hype her new diet book. When she was there a reporter asked her about any memories she has about making the 1997 "Batman and Robin" movie & being the "Batgirl" character. Her answers are sort of interesting. The reporter practically said the movie totally sucked & she didn't defend it at all, ha ha!
