Desmond's New DC SUPER FRIENDS BATMAN Hoodie-Jacket!

Anybody who's been reading the Bat-Blog for awhile knows that our very best friend in the whole wide world is a cool kid named Desmond! I mean, this little guy is crazy for the Caped Crusader! Here he is modeling his new BATMAN Hoodie-Jacket his Mom found at K-Mart. It is a Fisher-Price DC Super Friends Batman print with little bats all over. It's ONLY MADE in children sizes which makes his Dad very very jealous, ha ha! But I have to admit that I'm a little envious too...because that IS one cool Batman Jacket! But I'm happy for Desmond because I know he is a major Batman Fan. He loves to watch every Batman show there is, from the campy 1966 TV Series to the new "Brave and The Bold" Cartoon. That's AWESOME! Thanks to his parents for sending these wonderful pics. I loved seeing the little guy again & I know that some of my readers are parents too & will enjoy this news.

Batman's Secret Identity Revealed - His Name is MASON!

Here's an extremely wonderful photo sent in by a Bat-Blog Fan named David. It shows his beautiful one month old Son Mason sporting one of the onesies that Mason's Mom picked up from Kmart. The great thing, it's made to look like a Batman Bat-Suit Costume! Thank you David for sharing this very sweet family moment. Your Mason IS a true Superhero!! I mean, "He is The Dark Knight!"

New BATMAN CLOTHING For Children To Look For at Wal-Mart

I stay awake at night tossing & turning because I worry if Wal-Mart is making enough money. So, I decided to do this post to help them out, ha ha! No, not really, actually our good friend THE BATFAN recently went on a wacky crazy shopping spree & found a lot of very cool Batman merchandise he wanted to share. Now, he mostly buys toys & other cool bat-collectibles, but when he came across these kid's clothes with these amazing Batman graphics, he HAD to get them! What you see here is an almost complete outfit ( at least for the Summer Swimming Pool ). Here's a Batman Baseball Cap & Swim Trunks. They both feature vintage 1980's comic book artwork by Jose Luis Garcia Lopez! Anybody familiar with this artist knows how good his stuff is. I like the hat but the graphics on the shorts are really really great! Too bad they're only children-sized or else I would buy a pair for myself. POW! Batman-inspired Graphic Art at Target Retail Stores!

A friend of mine over at a Message Board I belong to found these POP ART Wall Hangings the other night at a Target Store. They're in their "Decorating Interior Design" area where they have a bunch of Clocks, Lamps, Framed Pictures & other Home Accessories. They're designed to look a lot like the 1966 Batman TV Show where they had POW! & BANG! appear on the screen. OK, how fun is that?! Now while they are not exactly "Batman merchandise" they are still kind of cool! If anything these would be great for a little kid's bedroom or baby nursery room. Let me know if you get any. HEY! It's Desmond, The Littlest Batman Fan!

Alright! Late last night I got a new photo of our little buddy Desmond in my email box. That always makes me happy because he's such a cool kid! He's shown here in some new BATMAN Pajamas he got last Christmas. They have a vintage style to them ( think of the ones your Grandpa wore, ha ) & they're completely covered with Batman Bat-Symbol Logos!! Oh man, I'm totally jealous! Hey Desmond, I don't have any cool sleepwear like this! I might have to come over to your house & steal these, ha! I wanna thank his parents for sending the sweet picture. It's nice to see the little guy again & he's still totally adorable. In fact, maybe even a little bit more!

LITTLE JACK is a BIG BATMAN FAN!!

YES!! For a few days now I have been dying to get this photo posted! This is a picture sent in by our friend Neal of his cute 3 year old nephew Jack. It looks like we have a Major Batman Fan right here!! I totally love this photo. I mean, if you don't think it's the coolest thing you have seen in a very long time then you just have no soul, ha ha! C'mon, This little kid is extremely awesome!! As a side note, I love the fact that he has his trusty Bat-Cycle just to the left of him. You know, just in case he needs to run to the scene of a new crime to catch the Joker, ha ha! ( Thanks to Neal for sharing this wonderful pic. Please tell Jack that he is great! ).

NEW BATMAN & BATGIRL ONESIES - Baby Toddler Clothing

Awhile back we did a story here at the Bat-Blog about some New DC Comics BATMAN Baby / Toddler Clothes they had at Target. It was a cute little Baby-Sized T-Shirt with the Batman Logo on it. Well, yesterday I received an e-mail from a girl named Tracy who said she didn't have a Target in her area & she asked if I knew of any other sources. Plus, she also asked if I knew about anything that was even smaller, like for a tiny baby. So after a little research, this is what I found. Here are 3 different Batman-Style Onesies each with their own style. The 1st one is black with the yellow oval-shaped Bat-Symbol. The 2nd one is light-gray with a Batman Comic Book logo that says, "BATMAN IN TRAINING". Now both of these would be appropriate for a small boy or girl but the next one, the 3rd pic, is really for a girl because it's the "Batgirl Outfit". It's also light-gray & has a bright yellow bat-symbol. Now, I already sent this information to Tracy ( she didn't specify if it was a boy or girl & later I found out it was a girl so that's cool because they have the "Batgirl Costume" ). Then I got to thinking that maybe there are some other readers out there with a similar question but didn't ask so...here ya go! Every year, close to Christmas, I always get totally excited about the TOYS FOR TOTS organization. Seriously, it's a wonderful charity. It's run by the US Marine Corp & they help underprivileged children try to have a decent Christmas. The basic idea is that they have Donation Boxes all over the place where you can drop off any packaged toy. Then, these toys are sorted & delivered to poor children. Think about Christmas times you have had in the past where you got a lot of cool stuff. There are many kids who don't get anything at all. This is so wrong! I have always thought that this holiday is "all about the kids". So, while you're out there at the malls, buying a bunch of crap you don't really need, please buy at least one packaged toy that you can drop-off at their box. You'll feel really great about it & it will seriously help a small child. Who knows, it might even change their life! One last thing, this message goes out to my Toy Collector & Toy Dealer Friends who might not be able to afford to buy new toys or donate cash: If you have some Sealed Action Figures & Barbies you don't care about anymore or some "old toy stock" that is gathering dust. Marvin Law's Special BATMAN KIDS STORY Comic Book Artwork

The 3 Batman Comic Book Pages you see here were a part of the CAPMA Promo Awards event. They offered a custom comic book story as a prize during the intermission. These were drawn by our friend Marvin Law who said, "It was an interesting challenge to draw a short story that was finished in just 3 pages, and featured no violence whatsoever." That is cool! Thanks Marvin for the update & sending the nice pics. Yes, the artwork is really great & I like how the entire story is told with NO words. The pictures just speak for themselves...great job! BATMAN & THE JOKER: Cool Kid's Halloween Costumes & Jack O' Lantern Pumpkins

WHY SO SERIOUS? A Fan of the Bat-Blog, named Carl, was kind enough to send us these really neat photos of his 2 nephews wearing their Batman & Joker Halloween Costumes. Their names are Billy ( Batman ) & Victor ( The Joker ). They picked THE DARK KNIGHT movie versions which is pretty cool. Their costumes look really great, especially the Joker make-up. Also, to keep-up the holiday spirit in the name of Batman, they carved these extremely awesome BATMAN & JOKER Jack O' Lantern Pumpkins. Good Job Guys, they seriously look spooky!! BATMAN COSTUME: ROBIN OUTFIT, The Tim Drake Comic Book Version!!

I totally like this kid because he's so cool! This photo was sent in to us by a Bat-Blog Reader named Derek. Now, this is not him, but it's his Brother! This photo was taken in the 1990's when his Brother dressed up as Robin ( the 90's Tim Drake version ) for a Hometown Christmas Parade. The outfit is totally & completely AWESOME! When I was a little kid I would have killed to have a Halloween Costume this great, ha ha! Thank you Derek for sending this, I appreciate it a lot & please tell your Brother that he USED to be cool, but you're wondering what happened, ha ha.

Kid's BATMOBILE CAR BED & DRESSER For Cool Batman Bedroom!

Here are 2 pics I came across on eBay the other day ( I think these items are still on there if you're interested ). It's for a custom-made Batmobile Car Bed & a Batman Dresser. WOW, These are really cool & I know that when I was a little kid I would have gone nuts over that Batmobile Bed, ha ha! And actually that "Batman Dresser" with the Bat-Symbol design is pretty cool for my current room. What?! You know you want one! Have you done some decorating with a Batman theme? Our friend Noah sent us some really nice pics the other day that I have been wanting to get on here. The 1st one is his sweet little daughter & she looks so cute as BATGIRL! It's so cool that she loves Batman so much. It's proof that she's being brought-up right! The next photo is her Dad all dressed up & I don't even think it was actually Halloween that day, ha ha! Then, the last 2 show him in real-life events where he has met the "real Batman"...twice! An Extremely Cool CUSTOM BATMAN BATMOBILE CAR BED!!

Last week I was surfing the World Wide Web looking for "Foreign" Batman Fan websites. Batman is popular all over the world & I like to see what angle the Japanese, German, British, or people from Argentina, have on the subject. By accident, I came across one in the Netherlands where they featured a photo of a Custom Batmobile Car Bed they had made for their child's bedroom. OH MAN! It's incredible!! When I was a little kid I would have totally freaked-out if this were my bed! In fact, I never would have left my room & would still be living with my parents right now, ha ha! The website was totally in a language I could not understand so I don't really have any details, sorry. I tried to use Google Translation but that didn't work at all. But really, the pictures should speak volumes...enjoy!

I have a friend who lives in Bulgaria & he told me that they got a new BATMAN WATCH at the store his Mother works at. I'm talking about a company called FLIK FLAK WATCHES. They are owned by the famous SWATCH WATCH Company & make very high-quality products. Well, this year they made a special Batman Child-Size Wristwatch & it's awesome...check out the pics! "Who's the cutest little Batman in all the world? You are! Yes, You are!", ha ha! The Bat-Blog has a MySpace page that we use for promotional purposes. I call it my "propaganda"! While surfing there the other day I came across this photo of an adorable little kid dressed like Batman. It's one of those small child-size Halloween Costumes that are kinda neat. I knew instantly that I had to contact the person who owned that page & beg them if I could post it here. He's a cute kid & seeing him dressed up like Batman is kinda funny! They were extremely cool about it & said, "Yes, please do". So, here's a photo of the cutest kid to ever dress-up as the Dark Knight...Baby Batman! Special BATMAN and BAT-MITE Children's Art Drawing!

Here's a recently submitted photo from a loyal Bat-Blog Reader named Hans ( who lives in The Netherlands ). It's a beautiful piece of art that was drawn by his daughter while he was in the hospital.
