Finally! It looks like the FATHEAD Wall Decal Sticker Company has finally come out with a brand-new BATMAN WALL STICKER! If you're not familiar with this product, basically, it's an extremely high-quality Vinyl Sticker that is Giant-Sized, I mean, SUPER-HUGE! This new one is sort of a "Comic Book" version & has the Dark Knight in a standing pose. You put it on the wall to decorate your Den or Office Space. They're also great for decorating kid's bedrooms. The quality is insane but I gotta warn you they're kinda pricey. For more info, check out the link below:
Ladies and Gentlemen, for your viewing pleasure, here is THE BAT-MIRROR designed by Stanislav Katz in 2008. This HUGE Batman-Inspired Wall Mirror is carefully hand-molded from plaster & done in a neo-rococo style. It comes in Black, White, Gold, or any Custom Color. I could see this thing in a New York Loft or Wayne Manor's Bat-Cave. It's... so... beautiful!
Oh yeah! I saw this on the internet the other night & knew it had to be shared, because it's pretty freakin' cool! This is a custom designed BATMAN Coffee Table. It features the BAT-SYMBOL LOGO on both sides. It also looks like it is made from concrete or stone granite but I don't think it is. I think it's just painted to look that way, to be sort of "Industrial". In other words, I bet it's not as heavy as it looks, ha! So, have you seen any Batman-inspired furniture or interior design lately? Maybe you have done some cool decorating? Well, either way please shoot us an email & let us know about it.
OK, you gotta love this post here at the Bat-Blog because this brand-new baby boy is so cute & the creativity in the decorating of his bedroom is just amazing! Here's some very cool photos sent in by our friend Thomas. On October 19th, 2010 his first son, Kyrian, was born and because Thomas is such a huge 1966 Batman Fan he & his girlfriend decided to give him a '66 Batman Baby Room! Yes! Check out all the amazing details! First, there's the Baby Crib with the "Gotham City with Bat-Signal" Graphic . Then, also for the crib, is a Plush Batman Doll Mobile ( I guess you could call it a "Bat-Mobile", get it? Ha Ha! ). Another pic shows a beautiful Batman-theme quilt with awesome graphics on both sides. There is also another smaller blanket with Kyrian's name made to look like the old TV show logo. Plus, there's an extremely cool set of curtains, wall designs, a mural, & check out the Baby Changing Table! WOW! This is ALL totally great! I really love the creativity going on here & I gotta say again that they did an amazing job on this baby room. I not only want to thank Thomas for sending these wonderful pics but I also want to congratulate these 2 proud parents on the birth of their beautiful baby boy...Kyrian!
A friend of mine over at a Message Board I belong to found these POP ART Wall Hangings the other night at a Target Store. They're in their "Decorating Interior Design" area where they have a bunch of Clocks, Lamps, Framed Pictures & other Home Accessories. They're designed to look a lot like the 1966 Batman TV Show where they had POW! & BANG! appear on the screen. OK, how fun is that?! Now while they are not exactly "Batman merchandise" they are still kind of cool! If anything these would be great for a little kid's bedroom or baby nursery room. Let me know if you get any. In fact, if any Bat-Blog fans come across new Caped Crusader items while they're shopping then please let us know, thanks.
It seems our friends Dallas & Daria are really getting into the Holiday Spirit this year! They decorated a few Batman, Joker, & Catwoman Statues with Christmas wreaths. The funny thing is the expression on Batman's face makes him look like he's not too happy with the whole idea, ha ha! But, overall, the 3 busts look pretty cool & I thought the picture would make a great Christmas Card image ( Thanks to Dallas for sending us the funny pic ).
Here's some neat pics sent in by our good friend Jennifer. She likes to decorate her Christmas Tree with a Batman Theme & it actually looks pretty AWESOME! If I read the e-mail correctly, the 1st pic is this year's tree & the 2nd photo is from last year. Using a Plush Toy as a Treetop Angel is a great idea. Personally, I have a few Batman Ornaments ( mostly Hallmark ones ) in my Bat-Collection & could probably do a tree too. My only problem is I have absolutely NO space to put one, ha ha! So, Jennifer...I am totally super-jealous...JEALOUS! Plus, you did a great job. Thanks for sharing. If there are any other Bat-Blog Readers who decorated their tree with Batman stuff then please send us some pics too!
A new friend named Lauren, who just recently discovered this site, sent me a really nice letter saying how much she enjoys the Bat-Blog & you know I always love that! Well, She was also nice enough to send some really wonderful photos of an "Animated Batman Lamp" she recently bought. The thing is extremely cool! When you push a button on the base it lights-up, plays the 1989 Batman movie theme song, & then a fan blows his cape to make him look regal & majestic, ha ha! Oh man! How cool is that?! Then, when I e-mailed her to ask where she got it she said Amazon & then, because she was so excited about how cool this thing is, she made a video to show the functions of the lamp ...WOW! Thank you very very much Lauren! This thing is so awesome it really makes me want to get one tonight, ha ha! If any other readers would like to purchase one then all I ask is that you use the link button down below. For every sale I will probably make about 10 cents, ha ha! But really, I just think this is an amazing new piece of Bat-merchandise. Thanks again Lauren...YOU ROCK!
Here are 2 pics I came across on eBay the other day ( I think these items are still on there if you're interested ). It's for a custom-made Batmobile Car Bed & a Batman Dresser. WOW, These are really cool & I know that when I was a little kid I would have gone nuts over that Batmobile Bed, ha ha! And actually that "Batman Dresser" with the Bat-Symbol design is pretty cool for my current room. What?! You know you want one! Have you done some decorating with a Batman theme? If so then please send us some pics...thanks!
There's a new product coming out soon in 2009 that is gonna make all Batman Fans totally drool! It's a HUGE Full-Size BATMAN WALL MURAL that you just stick on the wall. Yeah, basically it's a very large sticker sort of like wallpaper. The graphics are totally amazing showing The Dark Knight watching over Gotham City & it features the beautiful original comic book art of Jim Lee! Shown here are some examples of what it's gonna look like & if you're interesting in buying one to decorate a kid's bedroom or an adult's game room then just click on the button down below for more details ( When you get there just type "Batman Mural" in the Search Window ). I really wanna get one of these!
Recently we received some photos from a Bat-Blog Reader who has totally decorated her bathroom with a Batman Theme & it was extremely cool. Well, I guess another reader was sort of inspired to take some photos so he sent us these pictures of his "Bat-Room" ( or, I guess you could call it the "Bat-Cave", ha ha ). His name is Scott & he did a spare bedroom with a Batman theme. It's sort of a place where he displays some of his Batman Toys & Collectibles but it also looks like he has a few video game systems with a TV set up there too...sort of a "game room". Anyways, he did a really great job painting it in "Batman colors" & added a few framed posters. It also looks like he ordered some of those giant-sized Fathead Vinyl Stickers to attach to the wall too. They look awesome! I mean, the entire room is GREAT! Thank you Scott for sharing these wonderful pics. If any other readers have done some special decorating then please share too...our e-mail button is ALWAYS on the top right-hand side of this blog. Oh yeah, for anybody looking for the place to buy these HUGE Batman Fathead Stickers please use this link:
I got a lovely e-mail the other day from a friend over at Facebook. Her name is Billie & she said she decorated her bathroom in a Batman-Theme. She asked if I would like to see it & I'm like, "Heck Yeah!" Well, the Bat-Room is even better than I thought it would be! A friend of hers gave her some old Vintage Wallpaper that has a 1970's DC Comics Superhero motif. She only had enough to do one wall but it still looks great! She also custom-built ( or her friend did ) these 2 Batman Towel Racks...how AWESOME are those?! There's even a few Batman things laying around like Bat-Soap, Bat-Shampoo, Bat-Rug, that kinda thing. Plus, another of her creative friends painted the door with a skyline of Gotham City & the urgent Bat-Signal...WOW! Thank you Billie for sending us these wonderful photos. This is the coolest bathroom I have ever seen, seriously! As a side note I wanna let my readers know that the 4th photo of the "Superhero Wallpaper" is actually a "Desktop Wallpaper" you can use as a background. So, click on that to open it, then save as wallpaper, & Bam! You can have some of her wallpaper on your computer!
A friend named Reis, who runs a cool blog called Geek Orthodox, sent me some amazing pictures last night of a recent event featuring HUGE Batman-related Cookie Art! Yeah, you read that right, Cookie ART! In Washington, every year, the downtown Seattle Sheraton Hotel hosts a Gingerbread Village display decoration in their main lobby for Christmas. This year they seemed to go with a "Superhero Theme". It looks like some awesome pastry chef artists went totally nuts making a huge Batman display. They made a few different Batman figures, a Joker & Scarecrow head, even the Tumbler Batmobile! I have a few photos here but if want to see a lot more of these edible creations then please visit his site.
If you visit the Pottery Barn online store, in the kid's section, they have some new Batman products that are actually pretty cool! ( Plus, it's kinda weird that they would be selling "Batman stuff" ). The 1st photo shows the array of home accessories you can buy to make your kid's bedroom look like DC Superheroes. I like the Gotham City skyline mural on the wall. There are some pillows & sheets that look very nice. The sheets have vintage-retro graphics on them & I really like those a lot! I might have to get some for my bed, ha ha! Then, I don't know what this has to do with decorating, but they have an awesome Batman Floor Puzzle that is a replica of the very 1st issue of Batman. It measures about 2 foot X 3 foot ( pretty BIG ) & would look cool as a wall hanging or to have framed for the wall. It's kinda pricey though, at $19.00. If ya wanna check this stuff out use the link below:
Surfing the internet the other day I came across a company called FATHEAD who makes an extremely cool product for decorating a kid's play room or man's office. The item they make is a very large GIANT-SIZE super-high-quality wall sticker that you can easily put on the wall of any game room, den, bedroom, or living room. Most of their stickers are sports-related heroes from Football, Basketball, Baseball, Hockey, Nascar, etc...but recently they started to make superhero stickers & some of the characters they have are Superman, Spiderman, The Hulk, The Fantastic Four, The X-Men, & even our favorite hero, The Batman!! I'm thinking about getting the HUGE Batman Symbol Logo for my 2 nephews who share a bedroom. They're big Batman Fans & I know thy would freak-out over one of these, ha ha! If you're interested in seeing more information about these "Wall Sticker Decorations" then click the FATHEAD logo down below.
