Finally! It looks like the FATHEAD Wall Decal Sticker Company has finally come out with a brand-new BATMAN WALL STICKER! If you're not familiar with this product, basically, it's an extremely high-quality Vinyl Sticker that is Giant-Sized, I mean, SUPER-HUGE! This new one is sort of a "Comic Book" version & has the Dark Knight in a standing pose. You put it on the wall to decorate your Den or Office Space. They're also great for decorating kid's bedrooms. The quality is insane but I gotta warn you they're kinda pricey. For more info, check out the link below:
A friend to the Bat-Blog sent us this hilarious graphic of Batman. It's a parody of those "Calvin Peeing On..." decals you used to see all the time on the back of pick-up trucks owned by stupid Rednecks, ha ha!
It looks like the Panini Company in Europe are doing "Batman: The Brave and The Bold" Stickers, cool! For Americans not familiar with Panini Stickers, they are sort of like the trading card thing we have here except instead of card stock they're stickers. Another difference is they also have an album book you can buy to collect them in. Plus, they make a TON of product. For example, this Batman B&B Set will have 192 stickers! The picture we have here shows the store display box & sticker packages, plus the album book.

I got a wonderful email last night from a Bat-Blog Reader named Matthew who reported that TARGET Retail Stores are carrying Batman-related merchandise in their "Dollar Bins" again, awesome! So, be sure to keep an eye out on your next trip there. The "Dollar Bins" are usually located near the front of the store, as soon as you enter. Personally I really love the fun stuff they sell. Matthew said he bought a Batman Sticker Pack (with a play scene), 2 Activity Books, and 2 Jumbo Activity Books. There were also a lot more items that he did not purchase like: Another Sticker Pack, Motion Stickers, 4 Packs of Crayons (Batman themed and Joker themed), Markers, Push-Up Pencils, and 2 little Childrens Books one of which was a Riddler story. These are just in time for Back to School! Plus remember, you are never to old to color in a Batman Coloring Book, ha ha! To give you an idea what they look like check out the pics that he sent, Thanks Matthew!!

The true main focus of the Bat-Blog is to share the love of collecting both new & vintage Batman toys. OK, I have neglected that a little bit lately, ha ha, sorry. So here are some wacky examples of Vintage 1970's goodness! The 1st item is totally crazy. It's a Batman Latch-Hook Kit ©1978. This was an arts & craft project where you had to weave small pieces of yard into a canvas material to make a small rug, it took days to make! I remember in my childhood my grandmother actually gave me one of these of Snoopy...it took forever, ha ha! The 2nd pic shows us the Official Batman Sky-Diving Parachutist Figure, Mint on Original Card. Now, you might have seen this figure before but this extremely RARE packaging was for the British UK Market & is different than the American version. The 3rd item is one of those wonderful "generic toys" where, out of the package, has absolutely NOTHING to do with the character. All the graphics are ON the header card. This product tied into the Superfriends TV Cartoon craze. The last item is one that I never knew existed & I gotta research it later for another post because I have never seen them before. The TOPPS Trading Card Company came out with a series of "Comic Book Cover" Stickers. As you can see there's a Batman Cover shown on the top left-hand side. OK, I hope you have enjoyed some of these wacky-crazy Batman items! If you have any weird pieces like this from the 70's then please shoot us a photo.
A new trading card company called PLAYGROUND MANIACS has come out with a really neat concept. They sell these packs of THE DARK KNIGHT Collectible Stickers & you get a free Mini-Figure in each pack! Each package contains 8 stickers & 1 figure. There are 180 stickers total to collect & 6 mini-figures. They also make a "Collectible Sticker Album" for you to put the stickers in. The figures include: 1 Joker, 1 Tumbler Batmobile, 1 Bat-Pod Motorcycle, & 3 Different Variations of Batman. The only place I have seen these so far are Target Stores. I bought one pack & got a "Batman Standing" figure...pretty neat! I plan on getting all 6 figures. The Batman I got is almost 3" tall. Be sure to click on the above image for a larger photo, the figures are kinda neat!

Surfing the internet the other day I came across a company called FATHEAD who makes an extremely cool product for decorating a kid's play room or man's office. The item they make is a very large GIANT-SIZE super-high-quality wall sticker that you can easily put on the wall of any game room, den, bedroom, or living room. Most of their stickers are sports-related heroes from Football, Basketball, Baseball, Hockey, Nascar, etc...but recently they started to make superhero stickers & some of the characters they have are Superman, Spiderman, The Hulk, The Fantastic Four, The X-Men, & even our favorite hero, The Batman!! I'm thinking about getting the HUGE Batman Symbol Logo for my 2 nephews who share a bedroom. They're big Batman Fans & I know thy would freak-out over one of these, ha ha! If you're interested in seeing more information about these "Wall Sticker Decorations" then click the FATHEAD logo down below.
