Vintage 1989 BATMAN MOVIE Canadian Cereal Boxes
Here are a few Vintage POST Cereal Boxes with cool graphics from the 1989 BATMAN Movie. They were made for the Canadian market & that is why the boxes have both English & French languages on them. They did the promotion on Honey Combs, Sugar Crisp, & Alpha Bits. Also, if you look at the back of the box ( 1st photo, right-side ), then you'll see that the free premiums available inside the box were some "3-Way Action Trading Cards"... AWESOME! Now, I never knew that they made these back then so I hope you're as surprised as I am.

New Batman Toys - 1966 BATMOBILE CARS For 2010 MEXICO HOT WHEELS CONVENTION
Here are a few brand-new items for Batman "Batmobile Collectors" to keep an eye out for. Recently, in Mexico, they had a major Hot Wheels Car Collector Convention. Now the cool thing for this event was that Mattel made a few special cars that were EXCLUSIVE to the show. They made a few new versions of the 1966 George Barris Batmobile. By "versions", I mean, different colors. Shown here are: Red, Blue, White, & even Chrome. Now I'm not sure if they made even more than that but after doing some research these were the only ones I heard about. If anyone knows about another variation then please let us know. Most of these were sold on a "Blisterpack Card" but the "White Batmobile" came inside a bag with a header card. Now, I'm not sure how many of each they made but these are usually very limited.

RAT FINK 1966 BATMOBILE Custom HOT ROD CAR Model Kit
Check out this totally crazy RAT FINK Custom Model Kit I saw on eBay the other night, ha ha! It's the 1966 Batmobile Car ( George Barris version ) with RAT FINK as the driver. If you're not familiar with the "Rat Fink" character then let me say he was a "Hot Rod freak" designed by Big Daddy Ed Roth in the 1960's. Both Fink & Roth are a cult heroes to many race car fans around the world. Anyways, I thought this model kit was pretty cool!

Kyrian's BATMAN BABY ROOM ( 1966 TV Show Theme )
OK, you gotta love this post here at the Bat-Blog because this brand-new baby boy is so cute & the creativity in the decorating of his bedroom is just amazing! Here's some very cool photos sent in by our friend Thomas. On October 19th, 2010 his first son, Kyrian, was born and because Thomas is such a huge 1966 Batman Fan he & his girlfriend decided to give him a '66 Batman Baby Room! Yes! Check out all the amazing details! First, there's the Baby Crib with the "Gotham City with Bat-Signal" Graphic . Then, also for the crib, is a Plush Batman Doll Mobile ( I guess you could call it a "Bat-Mobile", get it? Ha Ha! ). Another pic shows a beautiful Batman-theme quilt with awesome graphics on both sides. There is also another smaller blanket with Kyrian's name made to look like the old TV show logo. Plus, there's an extremely cool set of curtains, wall designs, a mural, & check out the Baby Changing Table! WOW! This is ALL totally great! I really love the creativity going on here & I gotta say again that they did an amazing job on this baby room. I not only want to thank Thomas for sending these wonderful pics but I also want to congratulate these 2 proud parents on the birth of their beautiful baby boy...Kyrian!

Adam West's Recipe - THANKSGIVING DRIPPIN’ LIP SMACKIN’ GRAVY!!
By Popular Request:
Adam West's recipe for THANKSGIVIN' DRIPPIN’ LIP SMACKIN’ GRAVY!!
1. Save the drippins from the turkey and all other edible residue. Chop cooked giblets, some stripped neck meat, the heart etc. Medium fine chop. Add to the drippins mix.
2.Add half can of chicken broth, two large drops of A1 sauce, a pinch of salt or two, a small sprinkle of red pepper flakes, and a small pinch of onion salt, if you have it. Cook it over a medium-high heat. Add several pinches of flour to thicken. Continue to stir with a wooden spoon.
3. As it thickens, begin to add hot water but keep it the thickness you like for the gravy. I like it not terribly runny so that it holds like seafoam moving out on a low tide. Stir, stir, stir. Allow to come to a boil. Please taste. You will know what to add if anything. Should take around 10-20 minutes of stirring. Great on mashed potatoes, turkey, or mopped up with some fresh bread.
Video - Batman The Animated Series 1993 Action Figures TV Commercial
Here's a total blast from the past! This is the official TV Commercial for the BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES Kenner Action Figures ( 1993 ). It features 2 characters & one vehicle. The figures shown are INFRARED BATMAN and The SCARECROW. Then we get to see the BAT-SIGNAL JET. Also, be sure to check out some photos of the actual toys. These bring back a lot of fond memories for me because I totally loved that cartoon. It is a great TV show & all the toys were awesome!
NEW BATMAN MOVIE BACKGROUNDS - Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!
It's time once again here at the BAT-BLOG for "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" & I have to confess that I'm very proud to say that both of these Batman Wallpapers today were created and submitted by 2 Batman Fans. Check 'em out! The 1st one comes from our friend Pat. He made this image using many different photos of various BATMAN Movie Actors. You practically have the whole history of Bat-Cinema right here, a lot of fun! Then, the next one is from our buddy Sean Hartter. He's a very talented Graphic Artist who likes to create these fake "Vintage Movie Posters" of Batman movies we all wish would have been made. This one is styled like an old "Lobby Card" & features a young Linda Blair as BATGIRL. Yes, that would have been a crazy film! Thanks to everybody for their submissions. These backgrounds are AWESOME!

New ROBIN THE BOY WONDER Character Glass - Batman Toon Tumblers
This brand-new Character Glass of ROBIN, THE BOY WONDER just hit the market & like all the other glasses from this series will probably sell-out pretty soon. I love that they devoted a glass to Batman's partner. The graphics are really great! On the front is the image you see up above & on the back is the ROBIN "comic book logo". Oh yeah, I guess I should mention that the glass is totally clear but in this photo a piece of white paper was put inside to allow the image to be photographed. So, it looks a lot more cool than the dumb photo. This glass, of course, is one of the "Toon Tumblers" in the DC Comics line. So far they have made Poison Ivy, Joker, Harley Quinn, etc...Let's hope that they eventually make glasses of every single Batman character out there, ha ha! BATMAN LIVE - New Stage Production Photo ( as Wallpaper )
OK, I know we have been posting a lot of "Batman Wallpapers" lately but we have been getting a lot of really great graphics celebrating new events in bat-history. Here's a perfect example: This photo is from the design staff of the new BATMAN LIVE show. This is a stage concept photo showing what the "Gotham City" set may look like ( Be sure to click on the photo for a larger version ). As you can see there will be a Joker Hot-Air Balloon, AWESOME! Also look at the raised part of the stage area. Along the edges it's jagged to replicate the view of an aerial map. Plus, it looks like they're gonna have a HUGE video projection screen as a background. WOW! This play keeps looking better all the time!

New BATMAN - THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD "The Knights of Tomorrow" Wallpaper Backgrounds
Here, for your viewing pleasure, are 2 brand-new BATMAN WALLPAPERS with images from the next TV Batman: The Brave and The Bold episode, "The Knights of Tomorrow". Tonight's show will be sort of special because it's going to send Batman through time & we'll all get a look at all the many variations of the character in different eras. Like, "The Riddler" Wallpaper Background shows a 1939 Golden Age Batman ( See the short purple gloves, unique bat-belt with circle buckle, & his ears are super-pointy ). Then the one with Robin is very much like the 1940's when Bruce first acquired Robin, the Boy Wonder. It has a very 1940's look about it too. Awesome! This episode looks like it's going to be great! It airs on Friday, November 19th at 7:30pm on the Cartoon Network. After watching it, please let us know what you think about it.
